Memories

'Memories' is a series of personal paintings, dealing with childhood recollections both real and imagined. A few years back, I was confronted with a new perspective on my family and parents; this led me to undertake a deeper research into family history and my own childhood. I emerged with more questions rather than answers, and the images were born out of some sort of therapeutic vomit. As unreliable as memories are- the processing of them never ends.
